Solar Inverter MOQ Guide for Distributors: Samples, Test Orders and Bulk Purchasing

A practical selection framework for distributors, installers and project buyers who need solar generation, battery storage and backup functionality.

MOQ is not just a factory number. For a distributor or wholesaler, the right order quantity depends on model mix, branding, packaging, market testing, freight planning and how quickly the local channel can sell through inventory.

1. Separate Sample, Pilot and Regular Orders

A sample order is for technical and handling evaluation. A pilot order tests local sales, installer feedback and logistics. A regular wholesale order should be planned around repeatable demand, packaging and stock turnover. Treating all three stages as the same purchase can create unnecessary inventory risk.

2. What Usually Changes MOQ

Because these inputs vary, HOMESOL does not publish one universal MOQ for every configuration. Confirm the commercial terms on the target model before ordering.

3. How to Request a Useful Wholesale Quote

Include company name, country, buyer type, target model or power range, estimated quantity, purchase timeline and whether OEM branding is required. If you are still selecting a model, provide your market voltage, application and battery requirement instead of guessing a SKU.

4. Avoid the Lowest-Price-Only Comparison

Compare like-for-like configurations. A lower quotation may exclude branding, accessories, packaging, documentation or a different product specification. Ask for the exact model code and included scope so the commercial comparison is meaningful.

5. Build a Repeat-Order Path

For new distributor relationships, a practical path is technical evaluation → pilot order → local feedback → regular replenishment. This gives both sides a clearer basis for forecasting and reduces the chance of locking in the wrong product mix.

6. Current HOMESOL Product Context

For the current hybrid range, NS 2.5K, NS 3.5K and NS-4.2K use 24V batteries; NS-6.2K and higher-power hybrid models use 48V. Inverter conversion efficiency is currently communicated as 92–94%. Confirm the exact model before quotation.
